Summary
Life is just fine for Admiral Kirk and his First Officer, who unfortunately happens to be his secret lover. As another seven years have passed, they decide to solve the issue of Spock's impending reproductive circle on their own. This leads to unforeseen consequences. Suddenly, Kirk and Spock have to adjust to life outside of Starfleet, and also to the idea of having to take care of a child.
