Tardiness was never something familiar in Megan’s book, but there was a first for everything. One late alarm later, she found herself speeding through Manhattan to get to her meeting—until red and blue lights flashed behind her car through the rearview mirror.
Upon waiting for the officer to step out of the vehicle to give her a ticket, she tried to reason excuses. I’m late for my super important meeting! or I’m dying and the hospital is the big fashion building four blocks up!
“Do you know why I… pulled you… over?” The hesitation in the voice was certainly a first. Megan looked up at the officer and holy shit it’s Yoonchae. Her ex.

Summary
Being desperate has its quirks.
Since when you consider Yoonchae’s predicament, it looks really, really desperate. Awfully, horribly, and terribly desperate.
Maybe buying a love potion off of an Etsy Witch, which both Lara and Megan have mentioned before, is a tell-tale sign of this. It’s not even a maybe, it’s a definite, ugly sign.
or, Yoonchae tries to get Megan to like her back, and Megan might know something she doesn't.

“You… You’re—” she choked, but the rest didn’t come. Her mouth wouldn’t cooperate, words logjammed behind panic and confusion and oh my god oh my god oh my god she was right. She was so right. And it made her want to throw up. Because this didn’t just mean Sophia had a cool secret. It meant she’d been fighting people. It meant she’d been flying across cities and risking her actual life while also showing up to rehearsals and nailing harmonies and acting like everything was fine. It meant that when they were all backstage complaining about broken nails or lack of sleep, Sophia had been hiding bruises that no one could explain.
Her eyes snapped back to Sophia, who was still lounging, her head swaying slightly. She blinked, confused, clearly out of it. “What?” Sophia mumbled, voice syrupy and soft.
And then she slumped. Right into Manon’s arms.

Summary
Megan had gotten into Ninjago approximately three months ago, which she’s aware is extremely late to the party, considering the show has been around for years. Better late than never, right?
She'd started watching it as a joke, something to put on in the background while she did other things, but then she'd actually gotten invested in the characters and the plot. Before she knew it she was binging entire seasons in one sitting and reading fanfiction at 3 AM.
And then she'd discovered the Tumblr fandom.
Which is where she'd encountered her nemesis, archenemy, devil of her eye, worst person alive, blah blah blah: chipoftheyoon.
Or: Megan and Yoonchae are roommates in college, both cursed with an unfixable Ninjago addiction. Neither of them is aware of the other's addiction, nor their less-than-savory online activities. The inevitable discovery simultaneously ruins and fixes everything.
