You and Lohen have shared a strange kind of friendship since the day you met him, a couple of months ago. And in that time, your life has quietly come undone. Friends have gone missing, one by one, while you find yourself sinking deeper into a loneliness you can't quite name.
And yet, there he always was.
Teal hair catching the wind just so. Eyes, sharp red eyes with a distinct greenish outer ring, that never seemed to look at you without something close to reverence. A knightly uniform tailored by the town's craftsman, elegant in a way that somehow still looked practical. He always knew when you were down, always arrived with tea, biscuits, flowers, some opulent gifts exactly when you needed them.
Or rather, he always knew, because he'd been watching closely enough to read your every mood from a single glance, as an obsessive stalker.
You just didn't know how closely yet.
