Март вытолкала бедного Келуса с кухни, уверяя, что, если Дань Хэн уже проснулся, то наверняка очень голоден и будет рад любой еде. На все его попытки выяснить, что происходит, она лишь бросила: «Дань Хэн плохо переносит холод».
Прошло несколько секунд, прежде чем в голове Келуса щёлкнуло.
Разумеется, Дань Хэн плохо переносит холод. Он же буквально ящерица.

March 7th had come back shortly after telling him that Dan Heng would probably be hungry if he ever was awake and would surely welcome whatever he’d just cooked, adding: “He doesn’t do well in the cold.”
Realization hit him only after staring at the closed door for almost too long.
Of course, Dan Heng would not feel well in the cold, during winter, since he was literally a humanoid lizard.
