Summary
“I’m Lee Minho, alpha at your service.”
Jisung blinked rapidly. “Oh. Um. Thank you for welcoming me. This is fine, so…” Jisung waved his arms around half-heartedly. “You can go now.”
It was Lee Minho’s turn to stare with his mouth open.
“Go?”
Jisung didn’t know how to make it clearer. Why was the worker confused?
Apparently the silence dragged on for too long. “Like I said, I’m your den partner for today.” He checked his phone. “You reserved 4 hours with me plus an overnight stay with flexibility to extend the stay tomorrow. We have games, TV, movies…” He trailed off as he took in Jisung’s expression. “I don’t mean to be rude, but are you sure there isn’t something wrong with the den? I would love to give you a comfortable stay so please, say the word.”
“I reserved a private den.” Jisung finally blurted out.
“Yes, with a den partner.” They blinked at each other. “Which is me.”
Or: Alpha Minho works at a facility where omegas can book "dens" to ride out their heat. They can choose to get an alpha or not. Omega Jisung books a non-partnered den last-minute. There's a booking error and he's assigned a partnered den—with Minho.

Summary

Lee Minho finds out too late, and all he can do is beg him to stay.
But sometimes, love doesn’t have to be perfect to save you. -

Summary
When Minho finishes up cooking, he kisses Jisung as he hands him his bowl. When Jisung leaves to go to the studio, he kisses Minho goodbye.
It becomes just another part of their routine. Kisses good morning, goodnight, hello, goodbye, or just because. Nothing ever more than a short, sweet peck, never anywhere aside from in their own apartment. It becomes as easy as breathing, to kiss Minho and be kissed by him, like they’ve been doing it this whole time. Jisung can’t remember why they hadn’t been doing it the whole time.
They still don’t talk about it.
They’re still not together.

Summary
“How is it different?” Minho asks, and he knows he shouldn’t push this, knows he’s treading dangerous ground, but seven years of restraint is crumbling. “When he says it versus when I say it?”
Jisung stares at him for a long moment. There’s something in his eyes—confusion, maybe realization, maybe fear. His fingers start shredding the napkin in front of him, tearing it into smaller and smaller pieces. When he finally speaks, his voice is soft. Careful. “Well. That’s different.”
Minho feels something crack in his chest. “Different how?”
Jisung’s eyes meet his, and there’s an apology there that Minho doesn’t want to see. “Because we’re best friends.”
Minho watches his best friend fall for someone else.

Summary
Minho doesn’t really feel the Christmas spirit. His neighbor—who lives above him—however, seems to find it more than appropriate to play Christmas songs for as long as December lasts.
