Summary
Do you have some half-finished stories sitting on your hard drive that you are dying to finish but need a little extra motivation to actually work on. Perhaps you have a plot bunny that has been nibbling at your heels for a long time but you keep getting distracted by other challenge related obligations. If so this is the fest you've been waiting for. My Own Fic Fest is exactly what the name implies...a fest where you get to write your own fic!
You sign up by submitting 3-4 prompts/plots that you've either already started to work on, or have been wanting to write for a long time. All prompts will then be mixed up and posted in an anonymous list like with your normal prompt-based fest.
In the second step, you pick 4 prompts (not your own, obviously) that you'd like to read.
Finally, you will be assigned to write one of your own prompts that someone else wants to read, and then you can finally start on that story that's been on your mind for ages and have the added incentive of giving it as a gift at the same time.
