Cowering next to the throne is none other than Noctis Lucis Caelum, crown prince of Lucis. There’s a crude metal collar around the boy’s neck, attached to the throne with a heavy chain. He’s in no better state than Ravus, face dirty and clothes torn. He’s looking back at Ravus, eyes big and glistening. His legs are splayed uselessly to the side, while he holds himself up on his arms.
Joining the Niflheim military was the first impossible choice Ravus had to make. It's not the last one.
