Summary
The gold rush for colonizing Mars is well underway, and governments, corporations, religious groups and criminal enterprises are all vying for their piece of the wild new frontier.
Meanwhile, a strange illness has been spreading across the Earth, infecting the rich and poor alike, creating a sudden swell in the ranks of those eager to escape their brilliant blue globe for a chance at a challenging, but maybe safer life on the red planet.
With the power balance shifting across two worlds, there are some who insist on more than their fair share of it and are prepared to do the unspeakable to secure it. A Martian, an Earther, and a transplant each separately run afoul of the megalomaniacal plans of an interplanetary corporation and find themselves racing across the solar system to escape with their lives and potentially save half the human race in the process.
