Regulus bursts into laughter. The sound is lovely. So, so lovely. It sends a pang through James’s chest, and it takes him a few moments to recognize it.
I’m jealous, James realizes, I’m fucking jealous.
This is no longer simple attraction. It’s not about how mesmerizing Regulus is on stage or how objectively stunning he looks in tight clothes.
