Summary
Hyunjin’s face is a work of art, that is something Seungmin is convinced of, and there are always so many emotions that appear on his face in the shortest span of time, which only get more intense when they make love like this. Seungmin loves having the blindfold on, loves the idea of having to fully trust his husband and simply enjoy everything he’s being given, but there is certain magic to doing the opposite thing, seeing everything that happens.
“Jinnie, kiss—” Seungmin pleads desperately.
(Alt: Scientist Seungmin is tied to the space station where he studies wild plants, while his husband Hyunjin is barely ever at home, always lost somewhere among the stars. When they have those rare days together, they make the most out of that short time.)

Summary
Time differences, glitching calls, postcards that always arrive late, refusing to say goodbye and not wanting to hang up first, falling asleep mid-conversation and having to choose between shower and breakfast after late-night calls. Sending each other selfies, texting whenever there is a chance for it, cuddling with their pillows to numb the yearning and longing, watching movies together on calls to make it feel like they’re actually together.
It’s all worth it when Hyunjin stands just two meters away, so close that Seungmin only needs to take a few steps if he wants to hold his hand, and oh does he.
He missed this — missed everything about Hyunjin, from lazy kisses in the morning when they’re both still too drowsy to even keep their eyes open to making love in the most magical hours of the day, when the world is asleep and nothing can ruin the moment for them. Hyunjin’s eyes light up with the reflection of the last sunset splashes, and it’s the most fascinating sight that Seungmin has ever seen. Or maybe he’s just extra emotional today?

Summary
“Anything in particular occupying your mind?” though Seungmin doesn’t push him into talking about it, Hyunjin senses that he wants to hear it, so he closes his eyes and decides to take that leap of faith — again.
“You,” he breathes out his honest answer. “I thought I could move on, but you’ve always been on my mind even when I thought that you weren’t, and having you here now— I’m sorry. I just think that you deserve to know it.”
He expects anything to happen next, but not Seungmin leaning forward to leave a quick peck on his lips.

Summary
He finds Seungmin in the bathroom, with a basket of fresh laundry set on the floor next to him as he puts more clothes into the washing machine — and when Hyunjin looks closer, he realizes that those are exclusively his, Hyunjin’s own clothes.
“Hey...” he starts softly, quiet and careful, trying to avoid startling Seungmin with his voice. “Mind telling me what’s going on here? Is everything alright?”
“I’m not sure, I’m just—” Seungmin tries to explain but quickly starts stuttering and looks away again, fingers holding tight onto the fabric of Hyunjin’s shirt. “I don’t know.”
(Hyunjin feels lost when his boyfriend suddenly starts acting strange, not quite avoiding him but clearly distancing himself more and more. He does his best to remain a good partner, however, and eventually gets Seungmin to open about what’s been bothering him so much – turns out, it had nothing to do with Hyunjin.)

Hyunjin is very handsome, and he really stands out from his friends for Seungmin, which is honestly unusual since he never thought that lanky pink-haired fire performers would be his type.
And yet, this is exactly where he finds himself on this fine evening: watching a fire show with his closest friend and trying his best not to fall for a guy that’s wielding a fire sword with such ease as though it’s nothing.
“You should talk to him,” Jeongin whispers when Hyunjin reappears on their improvised stage together with Changbin and Felix for the closing performance. “There’s no way I’m letting you leave like this, not when you’ve been eating him with your eyes this whole evening. No way!”
Or: Seungmin wonders what it’s like to kiss a fire breather, and it doesn’t matter at all that he is actually afraid of fire.

Growing up, Seungmin always believed that dragons were scary, dangerous creatures, and that people should never get close to them — at least that’s what the legends said, even if no one in his village ever saw dragons.
Back then, Seungmin had no idea that ten years later he would be forests and fields away from home, traveling with a dragonborn fire mage and his dragon companion, feeling happy and free.

Quite predictably, Hyunjin is still very much asleep when he comes back to their bedroom, holding a warm mug full of tea that he then sets on the nightstand with an involuntary smile that adorns his face at the sight of Hyunjin pouting in his sleep.
They’ve been married for a few years now, living together even longer and sharing one soulmate bond ever since their childhood, so there are no crazy butterflies anymore, but the infinite tenderness and warmth that fill Seungmin’s heart around Hyunjin have not changed one bit.
(Alt: Seungmin wakes up to a gust of cold wind, but instead of going back to sleep, he decides to make his favorite tea and some breakfast — only to still fall asleep on his husband’s chest an hour later.)

One of the songs, and Jisung sings it like he truly means it, is about missing someone at home. The melody is upbeat and fun, but the more Minho listens to the lyrics, the more he realizes that Jisung poured all his longing and love into this song, and that it’s about him, Minho.
Before he met Jisung, he knew all about feeling inspired by other people, had some dances created after seeing his favorite artists live, but he had no idea what it felt like to be someone’s muse, and it never stops fascinating him.
“I love when you take care of me. Makes me feel special.”
“You are special to me, silly,” Minho responds with a fond chuckle. “You’ll always be my favorite rockstar.”

“But what if it’s a burn?” Seungmin almost ignores him, and it catches Hyunjin off guard — that’s not the kind of reaction he expected to get.
(Alt: Hyunjin is a clumsy vampire who believes that sending anonymous gifts to his favorite human is a much better idea than revealing his true identity. That is, until one day he doesn’t have any choice but to deliver the gift himself, because things don’t go as he expected.)

Hyunjin is a floral tattoo artist, who mainly does cover up tattoos and only works with his own designs, tired of constantly having to explain why he can’t cover black ink with pastel colors.
That is, until one day a client comes to their tattoo parlor and shows him the most captivating design that Hyunjin has ever seen, insisting that the person who made it is not a tattoo artist himself, but a florist. That florist, as Hyunjin learns, also has an art account on Twitter, where he posts flower stories under the name skyster.
(Alt: Hyunjin believes that mistakes don’t have to become anchors and, though they can’t be erased, they can still be fixed. Seungmin, on the other hand, is a bit of a perfectionist, who would rather post his art late than upload something that he isn’t completely satisfied with. They are both interested in flower language and post art online, but what will happen if their worlds collide?)

Hyunjin looks at him with a fond smile, and maybe it’s the flowers, or maybe it’s because of how serious he looked earlier today when he said that it was a date, but this smile gives Seungmin the courage to actually voice the thing that has been on his mind ever since they entered the garden. Hyunjin loves flowers even more than Seungmin himself does, so it can’t be that bad, right?
“I was thinking… that you are like a flower,” there, he finally said it. “You look stunning, so beautiful that even all those pretty flowers fade next to you.”
That’s just a compliment. That’s definitely not a love confession, he is way too scared of making a real confession.

“Should I hold you?” Seungmin asks in the dragon language, barely getting any of these words right but still trying to communicate with the dragon somehow — only to get no response again.
What if Spark has a stomachache? How do you even help dragons that are in pain if talking in the dragon language isn’t an option at that time? Maybe he simply wants to get more food, what if he’s still hungry? Could it be that Spark saw him and Hyunjin eating desserts after yesterday’s dinner and now expects to get something sweet too? Can dragons even eat sweet things?
Seungmin is utterly confused.
(Alt: Adopting a baby dragon wasn’t really a part of Seungmin’s life plan, but it’s not like he planned to fall in love with an elf either. Why hasn’t anyone told him that it would be so difficult? Could the baby just want cuddles?)

“You don’t have to worry about anything,” Taehyun says calmly as he takes a seat next to him. “You have the best people on your team, and you, too, you know what you’re doing. You’re amazing, Captain Choi Soobin, and trust me, I wouldn’t sign up for something like this if it wasn’t under your command.”
And then Taehyun leaves, just like that, and only the smell of his sweet shampoo lingers in the air, mixing with the comforting smell of coffee that will soon go lukewarm if Soobin doesn’t stop overthinking things. Taehyun knows how to calm him down, even with just a few words, and that is another reason — one of a million — for Soobin to like him.
