Summary
James is the owner of the FlowerPot, a family-run flowershop started by his mother. Still grieving from her death, he's spent the year focusing solely on maintaining the business she started. That is, until the 'sold' sign appears in the neighboring shop, and the irritation towards the construction brings him back down to Earth. There, he has the clarity to notice the shop's owner, who's no-nonsense attitude strikes James as endearing. Because he struggles with social skills, a "too much" complex, and cannot fathom making a move, James writes his attraction off as unrealistic.
After graduating at the top of his class at Le Cordon Bleu, Regulus opens Plutonian Night, a horror-themed bakery. It just so happens to be the shop next to a quaint florists. The owner, Regulus has come to realize, is quite shy. For months, Regulus attempts to write the man off as a distraction, but something keeps Regulus looking back to his glances. Regulus Black is patient, and the FlowerPot's owner has intrigued him; never making a move, but never giving up, either. The day before the opening of Plutonian Night, Regulus finally takes matters into his own hands.
