Arthur had always shied away from touch.
Maybe it was due to his upbringing; living with a father who’d only ever touch him to hurt when all Arthur wanted was a hug or a pat on the back.
So, by the time he’d met Hosea and Dutch, he had made it very clear he wasn’t the touchy-feely type.
And now… dammit, he was getting old.
He couldn’t pretend anymore.
