I need you to help Bakugo get his act together; he's dropped to rank 19 because he can't handle his temper," Aizawa says. Izuku almost bursts out laughing at the absurdity of the request, but then realizes that Aizawa isn’t joking and almost chokes.
"M- Me?" He stutters out, confused.
"Yes," Aizawa says firmly.
"How?"
"Figure it out," Aizawa shrugs.A lot has changed since graduation. Izuku has grown somewhat distant from friends and created a new life for himself as a teacher at U.A. Now that he's been gifted his mecha suit, however, things are different. Astronomically different. He's still adjusting to the ins and outs of balancing his life as a teacher and a hero, and meanwhile, he's been left with the task of keeping Katsuki Bakugo, of all people, under control.
Katsuki, on the other hand, is guilty of giving into Izukus persuasion with little pushback. Despite puting up a fight, Katsuki's main focus is less of Izukus sudden concern in his behavior, and more so wrestling with the fact that Izuku has a life outside of just hero work. The two navigate their apparent unrequited feelings for each other, both wanting to spend more time together, but neither wanting to overstep.
