I’m not getting kicked out for my little stunt back there. In fact, I might even be on my way to getting a promotion. Even Commander Dameron - Poe Dameron, poster boy for the Resistance - isn’t as bad as I’d assumed. I can recognise that, right now, I’m relieved and will probably be overjoyed soon enough by this turn of events, but at this moment I’m still just struggling to make heads and tails of it all.
If nothing else, I can rest easy knowing things will continue as normal.
Probably, at least.

Between the events of tonight and the recent lack of blood, I find myself exhausted.
But at least it’s over now. I won’t have to deal with that myth or that human again. It’s just one weird experience I can put behind me, and tomorrow is a new day.
