    Of course, Lucy Heartfilia hadn't meant to interrupt a meeting between two Steel Council officials. She certainly hadn’t meant to impress them, of all things.

    Unfortunately, she probably should've known things were bound to go the opposite of what she meant the moment she eviscerated the Rune barrier around the ancient temple, and it was a little too hard.

    God damn Jason for letting her go on this job. God damn the Priestess for convincing her with that gorgeous triplet set of keys. Most of all, god damn Freed for training her well enough to completely undo almost any set of runes. If only she’d have blown up like it was scripted. But no, Lucy Heartfilia had to have a brain and, for whatever reason, a sense of self preservation.
