Summary
He did it. He really, genuinely did it this time.
Wile E. Coyote had caught the Roadrunner.
Adrenaline kept him upright as 77 years of unrelenting, burning, aching want came crashing down at once. Wile E. tightened his grip on the bird’s neck, fingers curling into short feathers, keeping the Roadrunner pinned underneath his pelvis and legs.
You’re mine now…
He grinned, bearing sharp teeth. Licking his lips, he leaned in, replacing his hands with his jaw around his prey’s slender neck.
STOP
The way it trembled underneath him made Wile E. certain that they both knew It ended here.

Summary
Sigh. His paws.
The black pads were incredibly dry and rough, calloused from repeated invention-crafting and decades of running in the desert, with nothing to protect them from the hot, dry New Mexican ground. Cracks formed along the natural curves of each pad, often re-splitting and bleeding if working on a particularly component-heavy trap.
The sight of them was enough to make the coyote stop and frown.
They were tangible reminders of each failed trap, of each faulty ACME product. Each time he’d been used by ACME. Each time he’d almost caught the Road Runner.
Sigh. The Road Runner…
An impossibly gorgeous creature.
(Pure, unadulterated Roadrage fluff. Inspired by a prompt by Rowan404.)
