    So they have just won the Olympics, and in a dark dressing room as far away from home as they could possibly be and unbeknownst to everyone who is out there waiting to celebrate them, they make out for the first time, they make out fiercely for every time either wanted to but didn't dare, they make out softly for every time they almost could have done but didn't.

    So there it begins, for one everything becomes clear in just one kiss, for the other, embracing feelings and taking that plunge is one of the scariest things to do.

    (Yes it's a slow burn, with as much adult content as I can get in without it being gratuitous, also it’s just me trying to connect the dots...)

    What was really going through Scott's head during the Olympic Figure Skating Gala 2018...

    But now, in front of the world, on his knees in front of Tess for the last time, he was losing control. This was different. It was a slow burning fire, ripping him apart from the inside. He knew he was spiraling as he covered the momentum of the lean in by resting his forehead on hers. Scott tried desperately to anchor himself to her by running his hand over her shoulder and down her arm, trying to just be in this moment, to stop the onslaught of emotions and tears from erupting on the world stage.

    It felt like a losing battle. He was standing on the precipice of the end of their career, of his life as he knew it. It was the last time he could be with Tess like this, and it was crushing him. Forehead pressed to her, his heart pounded from the exertion of the dance, but his breath heaved out of him heavily as he held back the waves of emotion crashing into him. One, two, three, four, he counted silently. He had to get it together. He was not going to lose it now.
