In a heartbeat, years worth of memories came flooding into his brain. Waves of joy, love, heartache, despair, came crashing over him, enough that he had to brace himself so as to not be knocked onto the floor from its sheer power. It filled his head with thoughts that he hadn’t allowed himself to fully delve into for a long time, things that he had shut out to protect his heart, to stop himself from feeling a type of pain that ate away at him from the inside out, threatening to burn a hole through his chest.

After a particularly nasty divorce, Felix attempts to get 'back in the game' when it comes to dating. He signs up for a dating app that essentially sets its users up on blind dates. Since not even names are shared beforehand. It's also how Felix finds himself on a date with his high school boyfriend. And all he was met with was a devastating sort of silence. Chan bowed his head a little so their eyes couldn’t meet, his stance perfect as always - hands clasped, shoulders tight. Frankly, that said more than words ever could.

Four case-control studies that are about control, in four different ways.
Each story stands alone and can be read independently of the others, but they are interwoven and personally I think (hope!) some of the fun is the multiple POV on certain moments that comes from reading them all.
The timeline follows a span of events that overlap, but from 'earliest' to 'latest' the Cases follow posting order, ie 35 first and 143 last, and if you don't have a preference then that's the order I would recommend reading them in.
