“Who are we waiting for?”
“Our guitarist, he should be here soon..” Kai muttered.
The moment he made eye contact with said guitarist, Taehyun felt his heart rate skyrocket immediately. He doesn’t know what he anticipated upon meeting any of Kai’s bandmates, but he hadn’t expected to meet probably the prettiest man he’s met in his life.

At first it was Yeonjun and Taehyun. Whenever you thought of them, you always thought of the both of them. One didn’t exist without the other. And then it suddenly wasn’t Yeonjun and Taehyun anymore. It became Yeonjun and Soobin. And as time passed, Taehyun drifted back, and suddenly it was Yeonjun and Soobin … and Taehyun. However, Taehyun felt like he was just that. An afterthought. Someone who was there but in the background, forgotten by the others and sometimes forgotten by the pair.
What a nasty thing, insecurity. It was eating away at Taehyun’s insides, infiltrating his mind and taking over his thoughts. No matter how hard he tried, no matter how hard he fought, he couldn’t shake it off. Maybe that was just how it was when you entered a relationship belatedly. Maybe it was normal that he felt like an outsider.
