Summary
The thing is, Lan Wangji doesn’t seem to be in much pain. He didn’t take any injuries in the fight. It mostly just seems like his body is exhausted to the point of collapse, dizzy, weak, maybe a little dehydrated. It’s not that different, in fact, from the few times Wei Wuxian has seen him drunk. He is a little more lucid, but he is soft and pliant in the same way, placidly letting Wei Wuxian take control— not because he is insensate, Wei Wuxian understands with a pleased little ache in his chest, but because he completely trusts Wei Wuxian to care for him when he is in this state.
or: Lan Wangji is sleepy, and cuddles from his husband are the only medicine.
