Our English teacher basically made us write fanfiction about two characters from separate novels (not a romantic one but like a found-family type fanfic). The characters are the author Ishmael Beah (he wrote a memoir titled "A Long Way Gone") and Will from the novel "Long Way Down". Yuh.
