“You’re gonna regret it when you can’t sleep at night,” Sunoo argues, “How about we compromise and just go to sleep earlier.”
Heeseung considers his options as he puts on his sweatshirt. “Will you come to bed early too?”
“Of course,” Sunoo says. “We can go to bed at nine and sleep in tomorrow.”
“Hmm,” Heeseung knows he was going to agree from the very start, but now that he’s warm he has the energy to be annoying. “Give me two kisses and we have a deal?”
“Just two?” Sunoo giggles, already pulling him forward by his waist “If I give you three will you do the dishes?”

“What are we doing Sunoo?” He asks again. “You call me every other night and I pick up and then we just sit here in absolute silence, what are we even doing? This isn’t fair.” he adds after a beat of silence.
He chokes up at the end of it, but he can tell that Sunoo is still listening to him. All he wants is to hear his voice.
“You’re right,” a soft, shaky voice responds to him. Sunoo. “This isn’t far. I’ll stop calling you. Sorry.”
The line goes dead.
