Summary
Cas knows that Dean doesn't stay with the people he sleeps with, and so isn't keen to join the list. But Dean knows that this time, it's different.
------------------
They were standing in the kitchen, so far inside each other’s space that they were almost touching.
Their hands were soft and slightly reaching, their heads tilted, their lips parted. They could each feel the warmth, the want, radiating from the other.
This was it. This was it. This was it. Dean could barely breathe. He leaned forwards, slowly… he blinked, once, and then let his eyes fall closed as he –
“Dean…”
Cas’ voice was a saw through the silence, rough and unexpected. Dean’s eyes snapped back open, to see that Cas had turned his face away. -

Summary
When one of Cas’ old I.D.’s gets rejected, Sam and Dean tell him afterwards it’s because his picture is outdated—but this doesn’t make any sense, Castiel explains; Angel vessels don’t age.
Dean has to break it to Cas that he doesn’t look like he’s in his 20’s anymore.

Summary
Dean's never really sat down and thought about what exactly Castiel's Angel Powers are. He's seen a few of them in action, and most of them are pretty handy, and that's all he really needs to know.
Until he figures out that it's those powers that are causing the electronics to freak out whenever he touches Cas's hair....
-------
The first time it happened, Cas almost convinced Dean that it hadn’t.
The second time it happened was just part of a joke, an accident.
The third time it happened was an experiment.....
The fourth time it happened was on purpose. -

Summary
Dean sits back in his chair, drinking his coffee and watching Castiel. After a few moments, he realizes that the soft, mellow feeling in his chest is… contentment. He's not happy in the way that a little kid is happy at their birthday party, or even in the way that he is when Cas or Sam has been miraculously brought back to life after one of the long string of disasters in their lives. He's happy in a new and different way. And has been, maybe, for a while now. Nearly as long as Cas has been living here, human, in the bunker.
And then Dean Winchester has a moment of absolute clarity.

Summary
"Fine, whatever. Love you too, asshole. I hope you enjoy your walk home with your stupid, grainy bread. Taking Nature's Own a little too much to heart, but sure," Dean tells him, flashing him a sarcastic smile and swiveling around in the aisle to march away. He throws out something over his shoulder, careless and barbed. "I'm not paying for that shitty cardboard."
Dean's three aisles over when he realizes what, precisely, he said. Thankfully, when he comes to this conclusion, he's holding a box of poptarts, so when he fumbles and drops them to the floor, it's not a huge mess. He stares down at the slightly dented box of Brown Sugar Poptarts, and he has a very swift and very unshakeable crisis right there and then.
Love you too, asshole.
No, no, no. Why would he say that? Why would he do that? In the middle of the goddamn grocery store while arguing about bread? That's not—that can't be how it happens. That can't be.
