If the 400+ bookmarks and 1200+ kudos don't show how good this fic is, I hope this rec will.
"for the best of reasons" is a Hypnos/Zagreus Hanahaki Disease AU, although I would consider it more of an Hypnos-centric fanfiction instead. It follows Hypnos after he is cursed by Aphrodite, goddess of love, into either seducing Zagreus or being eaten alive by flowers. Like all good Hanahaki AUs, this one features a bunch of hurt and a whole lot of comfort. If you also want a wonderful insight into Hypnos' character and his relationship with Thanatos and Nyx as well, you might enjoy this fic!
Additionally, if you like crying, this read is a real tearjerker.
One big warning is to, as always, heed the tags. Body Horror is tagged for a reason. As such, word to the wise, if the concept of being eaten alive by flowers makes you squeamish, you may want to skip out on this one.

Summary
People make mistakes. All the time, in fact.
Laito thinks his entire life is a mistake. He’s been raised in the worst way possible. He was the punching bag of the triplets. Every ounce of anguish Cordelia felt, he felt ten times harder. He grows up, ruins every relationship he has, and replaces every insecurity with vapid narcissism and perversion. He hates himself; he’s never told anyone, instead letting it eat him alive as his once-closest sibling tries his best to bring peace to the Vampire clan, with their father’s power in his pocket and the woman he loves by his side. Perhaps that’s mistake number one — doing nothing to address the feelings of anger and disdain and jealousy which follow as everyone seems to return to normal.
At some point, those mistakes begin to transpire, and one thing leads to the next until a few months down the line, when he’s curled up on the bathroom floor covered in sweat and wishing for death if he were only so lucky.

Phew, what a fic!
"This is Primetime, Reload, and-" is a Laito-centered, Dead Dove: Do Not Eat fic about the aftermath of centuries of trauma and how Laito, the protagonist, falls into the trap of coping with said trauma utilizing drugs. It's a terrifyingly brutal analysis of Laito's character and his interactions with those around him. Especially his brothers from the same mother, Ayato and Kanato (mostly the former, but I digress) and said mother, Cordelia (who is dead, and only seen in the form of flashbacks).
I guess one big warning I would give readers is to, as always, heed the tags. Dead Dove: Do Not Eat is warning enough, but the author is kind enough to add other tags relating to substance abuse and incest. If you are uncomfortable with such topics, this fic may not be for you. A recommendation I would also add on to avoiding speed-reading each chapter, as the devil is in the details and you could miss out on important content.
