Summary
Wednesday hadn't anticipated getting turned into a Vampire while staking out a lead in her hunt for the Kansas City Scalper, though it had been a welcome distraction. Now a new term at Nevermore has started and Wednesday must learn how to manage being a newborn vampire and the challenges that come with it, while solving the case of her persistant stalker. Though, as it would seem, there is more to the case than she had initially thought and when a familiar blonde werewolf gets caught in the crossfire, Wednesday must face her own feelings head on.

Things are noticeably different from the last time they saw each other, namely the fact that Enid now has a child. Only a couple weeks after they reunite, the baby gets ill and Enid is struggling to juggle everything alone.
