For eight years, I let myself hurt. Drown in anguish, in regret of the things they made me do. When I… left, I didn’t know what to do, who I was supposed to be. I was lost, even with Jackie guiding me through gigs. Eventually I was able to put some of the pieces back together.” V falters, voice cracks.
Then, so softly she speaks again, “You’ve managed to do something that I haven’t been able to do for the past two years. You make me feel whole again.”OR
In a timeline where the Konpeki Plaza heist was a success (Inspiration from user CattyJay) and no one died, V still decides to join the Aldecaldos thanks to a certain Panam Palmer. Feelings flourish in the massive expanse of the desert, and someone falls in love. Unfortunately, good things in NUSA oft go awry.

“I’m a dead woman walking. Shot in the head, revived how many times from the same thing that’s killing me. Every time, I feel emptier. I’m barely V. I look at my left hand,” she looks down, clenches the synthflesh, feels her nails digging into her palm, “and I’m so confused, ‘cause it’s supposed to be silver. My arm got blown off in Mexico, same time as that soul sacrificed his life for mine, took a bullet for me, ‘n I managed to klep his tags before passing out. Woke up in a cot, medbay. No left arm, but I still have that soul’s tags in the hand that remained.
“Then I remember those aren’t my memories and I lose myself all over again. In the fear, in the anger, whatever emotions of mine remain. Panam,” she says, voice trembling, “I’m scared. I barely recognize myself when I look in the mirror.”OR
I had an idea based off of the paragraphs above and managed to flesh it out into a full thing. It's just another character study with my two favorite gals and Johnny Silverhand.

Set in a timeline where Saburo never showed up at Konpeki and the heist was a success. The biochip never left its case or went near V’s neuroport. Evelyn gave the chip to the Voodoo Boys and got enough eddies to quit Clouds, and everyone who died is alive.
