Lauriam’s fist shuttered slightly, stopping him from knocking on the door. Ventus. He repeated the name in his head, mostly out of the irrational fear that if he doesn’t repeat it every so often, he would forget again.

Summary
It had been several days since Sora, Riku and Kairi received the letter from King Mickey that detailed some recent findings regarding Sora’s Nobody clone Roxas and some recently uncovered information about three other keyblade wielders that have been missing for over a decade now.
It didn’t take long after the letter’s arrival for Sora and Riku to be contacted by the wizard Yen Sid and whisked away to the Mysterious Tower, once again leaving Kairi out of the loop.

Luxu had ripped his own heart out of his numerous bodies enough time to know exactly how it feels to be truly heartless, but this time was different. Usually by the time he manages to lift himself back up the ground, his heart lets him know it’s still there by its initial rejection of being forced into a new body, but that wasn’t happening this time.
