Wooyoung has never really thought about what he wanted. Life for him has always been Crescent Bay and its small town monotony, the predictable push and pull of the waves. It isn’t a bad thing; Wooyoung has never thought so. But a lot has also changed between then and now, the most notable of them all being Yeosang’s presence in his life.
Now, Crescent Bay seems too small, and Yeosang is too big, and Wooyoung doesn’t quite know where he fits anymore.

At its core, this is what the Yeosang Thing really is: the way the loneliness Seonghwa speaks of always melts away in Yeosang’s presence, ever quiet and reliable. Warm and steady.
And Hongjoong, debatably, isn’t stupid—he knows what it means when he feels this way about someone, recognises the reasons his heart refuses to function normally when Yeosang pays too much attention to him.

Euijoo purses her lips, considering this for a moment. “No, I don’t think so,” she says. “At least, I’ve never heard you saying anything. Why do you ask?”
“Just curious,” Nico says lightly.
She has to check, just to make sure. She’s worked so hard to keep her secret from Euijoo so far and doesn’t want to ruin it with something stupid like that. Living so close to her feels dangerous. Makes it worse, like there’s no room behind her ribcage for anything else besides her heart.
