It’s been months since the dead took over. And now, there’s no Merle anymore, either, and Daryl’s all alone. Things could hardly get any worse – or could they?
Maybe, they could get better?
If Daryl let them…

Summary
Rick is an inhumanly brave forty-year-old so he dares to go to a bar all on his own, without the support of his best friend, Shane. A game of pool turns into the start of a beautiful friendship.
But then people start dying. And getting back on their feet. And killing. And eating.

Summary
Maybe it had been a misunderstanding, maybe not. Maybe Rick was being a supercilious ass, maybe not. But be that as it may, Daryl had had enough. He vanished to go on a hunt, left Rick to lie through his teeth about not being worried about Daryl’s long absence -- and when he returned, it was time to clear the air. Well, not really, ‘cause Daryl just went into hiding AGAIN…
Rick would always find him, though ;)
Time: This starts with the scene where Rick, Hershel and Daryl interrogate Michonne in episode 3.07 “When the dead come knocking”. There are also a few direct quotes from the episode.
Schedule: Every second/third day. The fic is complete, though, so you don’t need to worry :)

Summary
Daryl escaped the Sanctuary, but the Sanctuary didn’t leave him. Rick’s people are biding their time, preparing for war; Daryl is battling his demons and trying to come to grips with the fact that he can’t do it alone. Rick is walking a tightrope between Negan, Michonne, Daryl, and his own feelings.
And why won’t Rick tell Daryl why Michonne and Rick as a couple is a thing of the past?
What the hell happened while he was caged in the Sanctuary?
And what the fuck are they gonna do with Negan?Time: Canon plotline more or less followed up to 7.08. Canon timeline, however, is blithely ignored: Daryl’s captivity lasted much longer in this fic.

Summary
They’re best friends, indispensable as the air to one another, and they love each other even if they’d never said the words, it’s just there and they know it and that’s that. What of it? They love their family. No biggie. Ain’t different.
And they’re thinking...So why’s everyone looking at them all funny?
And one of them is thinking...How would you know when you’re in love?
And the other one is thinking...I can’t be in love! Can I?
***
Time: On the road after prison/terminus/Grady Memorial; otherwise unspecified. Hershel didn’t die, and they got Beth back alive.
Updates: three times a week.

Summary
A long marriage and an even longer friendship should withstand anything -- even apocalypse. Right?
Ever since Rick woke up to a shitty new world, things he’d trusted his whole life have started crumbling down. In the middle of people turning into walkers, and people turning on people, is it possible to find anything good anymore? New friends? New relationships?
With a new disaster crashing into them every day, is there any time left to build new things?
Time: Roughly from episode 2.05 “Chupacabra” onwards. Even though the main plot points somewhat follow the second season canon plot (until they really don’t anymore…), I have taken a few liberties in what order I put certain things.

Summary
Alexandria and Daryl are not compatible. Rick is back to being Officer Friendly -- especially towards certain blond (married!) girl-next-door. Carol is working undercover. Everyone’s busy building their new, magically mended lives in the sheltered reality of Alexandria.
Where does an ungroomed archer fit in all this?

Summary
Daryl needs something to do, and Rick’s tomatoes can fare very well without the ex-deputy hovering over them all the time. So, what do two bored dudes do when everything is fine and there are no troubles as far as the eye can see?
Well, they go exploring, of course. Looking for trouble. Because why not, right?Time: AU from the moment the Woodbury residents moved to the prison in the season finale 3.16, or, to put it another way, let’s pretend “30 days without an accident” (4.01) just was a much longer time :)

Summary
Something had clicked in place in the woods. The Daryl Dixon who left with his brother after Woodbury, wasn’t the same Daryl Dixon who came back. Merle doesn’t really know how to deal with that, and Rick’s only trying to get some sleep. Random attacks from Woodbury keep everyone on their toes, and Daryl just wants to Not Think…
The conflict with Woodbury escalates, and things get worse until they get better.
(so yeah, this story has a happy ending since I don’t want to write them any other way ;) )Timeline/plot somewhat honored up to episode 3.10/Home, major Canon Divergence from then on.

Summary
This is basically a bonus chapter to “Learning Curve of Love”. I felt it didn’t really fit into that story arch, BUT the Rick & Daryl of this story are the same version and the “result” of what happened in the first part. So, if you want to know how they got to this point, read it first. This here story is just gratuitous sex, pure and unadulterated PWP*/**. Depending on your preferences, I say: “you’re welcome” or “I’m so sorry” ;)
*Just because I need to stay safely onboard of my ship just a bit longer until I get back to watching season eight. I need me some Rickyl PWP to bolster my soul against the emotional disaster that is that season (on 8.08 now).
**Aaaaaand it seems I can’t deal with these guys without some Fluff too. So, maybe not PURE pwp after all. Again: you’re welcome & i’m sorry...Series

Summary
Daryl is acting strangely -- he talks way too much! Rick is trying to channel his inner Sherlock Holmes and solve the riddle that is his comrade-in-arms. And it’s not just Daryl; Rick’s got a string of mysteries to solve concerning several members of his extended family, who are all behaving in an increasingly weird way.
Daryl struggles with his issues, and Rick finally, finally learns something about himself.
*****
Time: a few weeks after the Wolves/Walkers-incidents in Alexandria (somewhere around/after ep. 6.10).
Heads-up: the “fluff indicator” is off the charts with this one. Angst-level is quite low -- has to be some, though, to keep the guys in character, and what with Daryl’s past, well, you know.
Just… needed to do it this way. Need me some fluff… I’m still reeling from season 7, and season 8 ain’t much easier on my poor nerves…Series

Summary
Three years after the war, Harry finds himself with a new co-worker. Draco and Harry both have to make peace with their past — and each other. It would be tough enough even without the meddling matchmaker-elf, well-meaning friends, curiously observant Narcissa, and the need to actually work from time to time. Work can also become more serious than they had anticipated… but does it help or hinder with the reconciliation?
