barbatos was laughing, his body shaking with each gasp, eyes closed in joy. he was beautiful, highlighted by dappled sunlight filtered through trees, wings splayed out behind him, and braids framing his soft jaw. he was ethereal, like an angel. it almost quelled the embarrassment of messing up until his giggles died down like windchimes, and his eyes opened once more, glossy with tears.

Summary
Spoilers for The Hardest Thing.
Anne, Sasha, and Marcy meet up after 10 years for Anne's birthday, although what they don't realize is each of them is still broken in some way from the events of "The Hardest Thing". Now adults, Anne is forced to reckon with her shrinking mortality, Sasha has to deal with being the only one that seems to be past all this, and Marcy reckons with her lingering feelings for both of them. Meanwhile, Sprig and Polly journey to the lost continent and encounter something truly haunting hidden inside, a force that could rupture what everyone thought was their happily ever after.

Summary
After the events of Eclipse Lake, Hunter returns to the castle with the broken key, scared but hoping that it'd still be enough. However, by the time he got back there was barely a couple drops of titan's blood left, leaving Belos furious.
The next morning, the emperor orders the Golden Guard to pay a surprise visit to the Blight’s household where he overhears Amity talking to her siblings about what happened at Eclipse Lake… including the fact that the human still had a bit of titan's blood and was figuring out how to make a portal.
On his way back, Hunter had an idea: infiltrate Hexside to learn about the human and the attempts she may have made to create a portal.Also, (at least if I don't lose motivation) there will probably be a redemption arc for Hunter so :3
But not before some good ol' p a i n :DUpdate: I think I sorta lost motivation for this fic.... which is sad because I was getting close to finishing it :T. I could very well regain interest so I'm not abandoning it yet but I thought I'd let y'all know.
