another addition to "poems i wrote in middle school that i kinda forgot about"
angsty poem i wrote from the perspective of a sheep about to get slaughtered on Eid Al Adha as a metaphor for how i felt towards god, didn't do a good job at hiding my disgust for religion at the time.
for context: Eid Al Adha is a muslim festival where people sacrifice a livestock animal (usually a cow, sheep, or goat), and then split the meat 3 ways between themselves and their family, friends and relatives, & the poor and needy.
