It's her first day back on the job and Hirako-taicho is on the damn ceiling. To be clear, it's not just her captain, but his whole table, the collection of trinkets he's somehow managed to amass already, and two large stacks of paperwork. Not looking up at all, not even to acknowledge her presence, he leisurely flips through and examines the documents while making notes with a brush in the margins — entirely upside down. Her table, thankfully, remains untouched.
She keeps her tone steady and pleasant. “Good morning, Hirako-taicho. Would you like to come down from the ceiling so I can greet you properly?”

They were on the cusp of a life-changing journey, though none of them had ever fathomed just how much that would be on the night they had climbed the drain pipe to Uryu’s room and told him he was going to be in their band, whether he liked it or not.
Uryu, of course, only seventeen then, only in his pajamas, then, had said only one thing: we need better outfits.
K-Town would go on to break Guinness World records, sell out stadiums, make it to the top of every chart there was in every possible country, and win the hearts of millions of teenagers around the world. It was a success story of once-in-a-blue-moon proportions, though the numbers were only scraping the surface of it.
The rest was an unspoken history only four people in the world knew about. And until the tell-all dropped, maybe fifty years down the line, they had all vowed it would remain that way.

Summary
The battle at the Fake Karakura Town comes to a close, and Shinji can't be satisfied that this is where it all ends, with half his friends dead and Aizen winning despite their best efforts. But he does have one final ace up his sleeve--a small-scale distortion of reality. Put more simply, he can travel in time to the beginning of the battle.
With the opportunity to do it again, will Shinji be able beat Aizen, preferably with his friends still intact, or will he get cut in half first? And would that be a better fate than the strange bargains he must make to succeed?

“Good,” Urahara says, and shifts his weight evenly between his legs.
