Almost every game, Akane's team walks home with the trophy. Life seems to go well for the boy, meeting a cute violet-haired waitress who he plans to go have a date with soon. It's only unbelievable when things start to go downhill, Akane's team meets an opponent like no other, having to go home with a broken nose rather than a trophy.
