Blaze doesn’t smoke.
Which was a surprise to, say, the people who knew her. She was not exactly a well-behaved person, nor was she a conformist. If her daily routine were anything to go by, smoking would be the least of her vices.
She was fascinated by fire, yes, but she never felt the tendency to smoke. The flames at the end of a cigarette stick were not even worth looking at, merely a dim glow against the pitch-black shadows of the night. Compared to setting police cars on fire, watching oil on asphalt create fascinating shapes, or seeing the morning sun hidden behind black clouds, she simply does not have the patience to indulge in slow-pacing activities.Blaze does not smoke, but she would find herself carrying a box of Marlboro every so often; for when a green-eyed beauty would lean over the sidewalk railing, with her side-shaved mullet spilling over her shoulders and her black lipstick against pale skin, speaking in that deep, mellow voice with a hint of amusement: “You got a cig, little devil?”
