“Uri heard a knock on his door. He knew who it was, but he still felt shocked to see the sight before him. Kenny had never looked this distressed before, and with a sick child in his arms, he almost looked fatherly.
Uri had heard Kenny describe himself as trash, a cold-hearted killer before, but seeing him here like this, Uri could tell that Kenny was wrong about himself.
“Uri, I’m sorry, I didn’t know where else to go.” Kenny pleaded. “The doctor said if he stayed underground he would die. I … he’s my sisters, I can’t let him die.”
Levi gets sick. Kenny doesn’t know how to help him, but there’s one person who might.
