It’s probably not Eddie’s fault that they end up sprawled in the grass. He’s definitely not complaining, though, on his back and looking up at Buck’s grinning face. His curls are loose over his forehead, and his ears look beautiful and soft with the sky behind them.
“Hi,” Eddie says. Buck’s tail is wagging so hard that his body sways with it. Eddie wants to eat him. “We went on a date.”
“And it was so good.”
“First of many,” Eddie says, and Buck whines high in the back of his throat. Like he’s been overcome with emotion, he swoops down to press a messy kiss to Eddie’s lips, and then the tip of his nose. “You scenting me?”

"Ah, yes. Mating season, how could I forget," Chimney said in an almost wistful manner as he watched Eddie heavily scent Buck.
Ravi looked over towards the pair and his eyebrows almost shoot up to the sky as Buck leaned his head back, looking like he was holding back a whimper as Eddie placed his lips on the back of his mate's neck.
"Mating season?" He questioned as Hen sighed heavily while leaning against the rig. "For mated couples, spring is a very busy season,' she commented, suddenly glad that she and Karen didn't work in the same space.
Because, whileshe prided on herself having self control, she will admit that her mate's scent always became extra sweet and delicious around mating season.
"While our love birds have gotten slightly better, ol' Diaz here always becomes a Buck addict because omega's scent glands naturally become sweeter during mating season " Chimney commented as Eddie placed his left wrist against his mate's neck, a deep rumble echoing through the bay.
