Summary
AMBITION is fic, written in script / outline format, that basically reads like a television show. So the series is structured into seasons and episodes (chapters), and me and Esther (my co-creator) brainstorm and build and outline the entire show as if it were a television show on network or streaming (considering we both want to be writers in the future). The world was loosely inspired by characters from Girl Meets World and Boy Meets World, but I cannot emphasize enough that you do not need to have seen either show to read AMBITION. We have readers who have no prior attachment to those shows, and they love it just the same.
So it’s kind of like… well, it’s a story. That reads like a television show. And in some ways acts like a web series? And incorporates music, as it’s about a performing arts school. It’s somewhere between the structure of Glee but the story content of… your favorite well-written teen drama, let’s say. It also includes careful exploration of mental illness, different experiences of the queer community, and of course, theater kid realness.

Basically Girl Meets Glee. One of the most creative GMW AUs I've read, Ambition gives us a look on what GMW could've been- a strong ensemble cast, different friend dynamics, strong character depth/ development, lgbtq+ rep, and making rucas (rl) one of the cutest ships (giving us rucas scenes, GMW lacked).
Maggie and Es really know what their doing, hence why there's 3 seasons!
