Summary
“You’re going to marry the prince of Karasuno,” Kenma’s father told him on the first day of midsummer.
King Kozume Takeshi did not so much as look up from the letter he was writing at his desk as he said it. His manner suggested he was advising that the evening meal would be held fifteen minutes late; the life-altering statement was that matter-of-fact, and carried the same expectation that he would not be questioned.
“Very well,” Kenma said, when the skritching of the quill stopped pointedly and he realized that some sort of answer was expected of him. He blinked. “Is that all?”

Summary
'You two,' Daichi hisses, 'were the ones who said they'd be happy to strip! And now you're backing out of this!' Iwaizumi nods dutifully as he holds Bokuto in a headlock, as Kuroo gently tries to pry Daichi's hand off his top. He doesn't budge. He shares a mournful look with Bokuto. They were trapped.
'Okay, okay. Yeah. We were.' Kuroo admits, defeatedly. 'But this is different from stripping. Stripping involves you, and just you, humiliating yourself in front of yourself. This-' He gives Daichi a small push so he can free his arm, gesturing wildly to the studio behind them. 'Involves other people, other dudes, might I add. Other dudes who are confusingly pretty, and press against you, and have really nice thighs. And it's seven in the morning, which is far to early for a sexuality crisis.'
'I agree!' Bokuto pipes in, 'we should have just killed people!'. Iwaizumi sighs, loosening his grip on Bokuto.
'No, Bokuto, that was still a bad idea'.

Summary
'Daichi adjusts the guitar in his hands, angling his body so he won't bump Suga with it, and starts to play. “Sing,” he says, and a moment later, Suga does.
His voice is everything Daichi loves about these evenings. Warm and soft and a little raspy. The breeze that glides over his skin and the pebbles that catch in the soles of his shoes. Daichi tries to listen to the words, but all he really catches is the rise and fall of the voice, the way Suga's lips move and his eyes fall on Daichi's hands as he plays.'
--
Daichi loves making music. But it will never be his life, not after he graduates from university and leaves behind the years he spent playing his guitar to pursue his accounting degree, his desk job, the dull acoustics of computer keys.
This is what he thinks, until Suga steps into his world and adds a voice to his songs and a new light to everything he sees.
