Summary
Keith looked away, not wanting to see Lance light up at the sight of Allura’s arrival.
The rustle of the sheets and Keith could hear the shuffle of Lance’s weakened legs as he crossed the room. He waited for them to stop at Allura, to hear the sound of Lance’s voice crooning some stupid pickup line at her.
The shuffling of his feet went right past her, and all of a sudden Lance’s face was looking up at Keith from where he was kneeling before him. His face was feverish, pink standing out on that brown face like a sunburn. His eyes spoke of worship as he stared at Keith as if he had never seen a sight so painfully lovely.Keith’s heart stopped.
“Oh, raven haired beauty.” Lance whispered, reverence lacing the sound of his trembling, rough voice. “Why do you not look at me when I burn only for you?”

HOLY SHIT I LOVE THIS FIC!!!!! that feeling when u read a fic (that you adored) back when u didnt have an account and therefore couldnt bookmark it and then a couple years later (a little while after you finally decided to stop putting off making your account) you remember that afore-mentioned fic you read and adored and want desperately to reread it so you search for it for ages but cant remember the name or any of the specific tags and your searching is fruitless and then one random day after youve given up all hope you find it again in the middle of the night when you werent even looking for it

Summary
Keith was settled on his knees, blood dripping down his arms from yanking at the chains. His face was scratched and stained with bloody tears. His eyes glowed a dull yellow and his pupils were slits.
He looked deranged and teetering into something forbidden and was so beautiful it hurt.
“The quintessence of a Galra-human hybrid,” Keith’s fangs glinted in a bloody smile. “Doesn’t that just make your mouth water?”
When Keith and Lance are captured by a creature that can drain any being of quintessence, both go to extreme lengths to save the other. This is a story of how you can come from feeling everything, only for it to be taken away.

Summary

Keith whirled around and caught the edge of Lance’s knife on his own. For a moment they were still. Like sparring partners, staring over the metallic sheen of their blades.
“How’re you holding up, darling?” Lance blinked blood out of his eyes. It was dribbling down from somewhere above his hairline, leaving a trail of crimson in its wake, leaving something of itself behind wherever it went. A large gash traveled from his forehead down to cheekbone.
Their knives were trembling with force. Keith blew a strand of sweaty hair away.
“I can go all morning.”
Lance smirked. “Nah babe, you never could do that.”
