Summary
The muffled music from next door is still loud enough to cover the sounds of Neil's whimpers and moans to everyone but Andrew, who groans into Neil's mouth and has to pull away when his fangs fully extend.
Mesmerised, Neil traces a finger along the length of them. “They’re so cool,” he said, lips swollen and face flushed. “And so fucking hot.”

Summary
His mind began to wander, conjuring images of Andrew’s lips against his, the black spikes adorning his bottom lip poking ever so slightly into the soft meat of Neil’s mouth. Would it hurt, he wondered? Would he be able to feel the sting? Or would it get swallowed by the plush swell of Andrew’s lips, the gentle glide of his tongue against Neil’s?
Neil meets a handsome stranger outside the club and discovers a newfound curiosity for piercings. He just wants a taste, but in the end, he may get more than he bargained for.

Summary
“Something caught your eye, junkie?” Andrew’s voice was a low, even murmur, barely audible over the mall’s incessant chatter. He didn't slow his pace, trusting Neil to keep up.
Neil didn’t answer immediately. His eyes, usually sharp with the calculating precision of a fox observing prey, were wide with an unfamiliar, almost childish wonder. Above a brightly lit glass window, a banner screamed in cheerful, primary colors: “Build-a-Bear Workshop: Your favorite players, now as bears!” Cartoon animals, wearing miniature sports jerseys, grinned vacantly from behind the glass. One, a fluffy brown bear in a tiny goalie uniform, struck a heroic pose. Another, a sleek black bear, held a tiny Exy racquet, ready to score.
It was a ridiculous concept, Neil knew. A marketing ploy designed to fleece parents and appease children. Yet, for a fleeting moment, a ghost of a smile touched his lips, quickly suppressed. He knew Andrew was watching him, cataloging every micro-expression. Neil averted his gaze, forcing himself to focus on the task at hand – the list Andrew had tucked into his pocket, detailing their weekly grocery haul. He cleared his throat. “No. Just… an advertisement.”
