Summary
Sukuna has never known a life without his father; Yuuji's life starts and ends with his son.
The house they live in, just the two of them, has always been a symphony of angered yells and slammed doors, of sharp words and words unsaid. That already frail balance breaks after what seemed like just another fight, and, from there, their pasts, presents and futures become one, all hanging from the family tree.
Much like illness and features, unhappiness is genetic.“I’m not afraid, as long as you’re here.”
There’s something hidden in there, between Yuuji’s words, in the ditches between breaths, where Sukuna couldn’t look without falling and hurting himself.
Sukuna doesn’t usually mind hurt. But to be hurt right inside Yuuji’s lungs would be bleeding in a shark’s pool – and, as of lately, Sukuna has already starved this shark enough for it to be dangerous to be wounded around.

Summary
On the edge of an unknown danger, a boy finds an ancient artifact, a mummified finger, right in a place that he thought he was so familiar with, and swallows it down, for a stranger’s soul to settle in his heart, right next to his own.
Yes, this story has already been told.He finds himself reduced to nothing more than some entity, trapped in the back of his own head, his own ribs turned into a birdcage that he could barely look through the bars of, wasn’t he so tired.
Only vaguely, from a sound, is he aware of his own lips giving out a fascinated whistle – the boy has never learned how to whistle – and saying some words he can’t quite make out, not because of some quality in a voice that has never belonged to him but because his conscience is already drifting away from him. Sleep swallows him, as he lays locked up by a stranger in the attic of his own house.

Something horrible happened, yesterday night.
Yuuji doesn’t remember what that was, but he knows that he needs to look for Sukuna’s soul in the body next to his.Yuuji should be horrified far more than he is amazed, with no disgust reaching him even with the ooze of putrefaction that is already snaking out of the helplessly parted lips instead of a breath, and yet he can only stare in awe, conscious that this is not just his twin’s corpse, before him.
He’s looking at his own death.

Summary
Yuuji swears that he can save Sukuna, but there is no running from the end of time.
In his inescapable hold, tender and violent, comes to him a notion that had been written in blood where their bodies met, blood wasted as all his efforts at learning to safeguard himself and transform his monstrosity into a weapon and an armor to protect his own core.
Not the neighbors or the mean children on the playground or the bullies in the streets or the stray hungry dogs – no one else but Yuuji was ever meant to be able to destroy him.
And do so bit by bit, bite by bite.

His vessel remains silent. Only his painfully tight grip, pushing upwards—no, Sukuna realizes, pulling upwards. Yuuji is trying to pull his head off.
He wants to laugh. The very idea is laughable, except that Sukuna has seen Yuuji throw cars across the street before, knows that he possesses the monstrous strength necessary to rend through meat and bone with his hands alone. And his hands are around Sukuna’s neck, because Sukuna fucking put them there.

Summary
There had been something wrong with Sukuna since he was born. Some violence inside him that didn't have a home. Some need for blood that he could only express with his teeth. Sukuna didn't need help. He didn't need fixing. All he needed was the rush. The pain he caused was his only birthright. Then he was brought to Yuuji; some quack psychologist who claimed he knew enough about him to mend him. That was how it began, at least. Before the memories started to eat him alive.
