Summary

Ravi decides to step away from the car, only a few steps down the drive as he answers Buck’s call. “We didn’t forget something did we?”
“No, I just—” Buck’s voice was quiet, soft, he could hear the tapping of his foot through the phone. “Take it easy, okay? If something starts to hurt, your ribs, your legs, your wrist, call me. And I’ll come get you, and I’ll get Eddie to drive me back to the Aquarium to get your car, and we’ll bring it back to yours for you, and—”
“Buck.” Ravi cut him off before Buck could send himself spiralling further. It was only now that he realised Buck was also worrying about him before, and it warms his heart. “I’ll be fine. I have painkillers in my bag, and I promise I’ll call you if something happens, okay?”
“And you also promise to update me every half an hour?” A crack in Buck’s voice.
“Every hour.”
“Nope, I’m changing it. It has to be every half an hour now.”

Summary
He slowly pulled Buck's head down, bringing his other hand up to cradle his head, brushing a thumb over the pink in Buck's cheek. Eddie awaited the connection, the smile on his face dissolving into the kiss, a matching one plastered on Buck's face.
The kiss was in no way rushed, it didn't need to be. It was slow and delicate, filled with nothing but love and warmth, the feeling unworldly. Their movement was a meticulous mess, an orderly chaos. Neither of them wanted to separate, the urge to stay fixed to the other grew stronger with every passing second.

When Eddie has a bad reaction to Buck getting hurt on the job, all Buck wants to do is show Eddie that he's not going anywhere.

“So,” Eddie said, voice light, “what’s good today?”
Buck didn’t even look. He reached beneath the counter, grabbed a small white bag and the to-go cup of juice he had ready before sliding it across to Eddie. “You want the apple turnover. Some orange juice too.”
Eddie blinked. “How’d you—”
“You always glance at both of them but never pick them. Thought I’d make the call for you today. Start your day off with some joy.”
His eyes lingered on Buck. “Always do.”
Or Buck owns a bakery, Eddie gets a little sweet treat every day, and they learn what joy is.
