It was almost laughable, a werewolf left to drown by hunters as a test to see if he was a witch. And badly, with a broken pump and barely half a foot of water. The more time passes, and the colder it gets, the less Jack finds it funny. But hope is at hand. And anger, sometimes, can be a very warm emotion.
