Summary
There are several things that the dwarves don't know about the hobbit that is traveling with them. Things that Bilbo is glad to let them find out for themselves along the way.
The first is that he's prepared for anything. His mother used to quiz him about what he'd do in any situation - from relatives to trolls - and Bilbo never disappointed her with his answers. Riding a pony all day gives him plenty of time to plan for everything.
The second is that he can throw a stone or any other small object hard enough to embed it several inches into a tree trunk. His accuracy is uncanny even by Shire standards. He's quite proud of it.
The third is that he doesn't actually say so many proverbs when at home but it seems to annoy the dwarves so he spends time thinking up all the ones he's heard before.
And last, hobbits scold like it is no one's business. The Dwarves he's traveling with really have no idea what will happen if they truly piss him off.

WELCOME BACK MY LOVES!!! If you are brand new to the reforged universe, you need to go back and read Reforged. This won’t make sense otherwise.
A few things before you can read on. This will just be an ongoing work broken into ACT’s. Some will be quite substantial others not so much...though so far all the ACTS I have done are over ten chapters...sooooo....ya. Before I post an ACT, I do try and get it mostly done before posting anything…incase I lose momentum and didn’t finish it. Nothing worse than getting sucked into a story and it being left hanging.
ACT one through I think three are complete. I will eventually have some ACT’s which will be short one-shot...but I have not done any of those yet so who knows. Still, I thought this way would be easier than making a bunch of separate stories so you can keep them in chronological order.
Heads up, I do proofread these before posting, but you will need to forgive me if I miss a spelling error or completely spell something in the Tolkien universe way wrong. It will happen. Sorry.
