His family is hopeful that with this finery, Felix will catch the eye of some well to do merchant or noble. Someone with enough money and so taken by Felix’s beauty, they would be willing to overlook his lack of proper dowry and humble background. His older sister’s marriage had allowed them some semblance of security but with her wife expecting a baby, the need to secure a match had grown ever more pressing.
Or - Felix goes to the annual courting ball hoping to secure a respectable match that will help to provide for his family . He could never imagine what comes next.

Summary
Bang Chan is an old vampire who very much enjoys his comfortable and uneventful lifestyle. After a business deal gone awry, he finds himself in the middle of a territorial feud with another clan of vampires. Changbin convinces Chan to acquire a human to feed from in order to get his physical strength up and stress levels down. What neither of them take into consideration is that the blood donor appearing on their doorstep might prove to be much more than an expensive dinner.
“Being a vampire is in itself a metaphor for queerness,” Chan says, shrugging his shoulders. “Gender has little to do with bloodlust.”
