Sakusa doesn’t say anything, he just keeps his eyes on Kuroo. A pause. He lowers his wrist, slowly wraps it in the fingers of his opposite hand. There’s a mole on his index finger, right beside the second knuckle, a pinpoint reminder of the two on his forehead. Sakusa tightens the grip on his own wrist until the skin flushes white, holds it out further for Kuroo to see. “You show me,” Sakusa says.
“What?”
“The muscle. Pronator quadratus. Show me where it is. On me.”

“One time,” Kiyoomi’s like, and Atsumu wonders if his other teammates who are in the studio right now are actually as stunned as they look. Bokuto, Hinata, Kiyoomi and himself have always been especially close, grouped together even by the media, their fans affectionately dubbing them MSBY’s Four. But out of all of them, he knows he’s the one Kiyoomi’s closest to, the most open with. So he knows that, despite not seeming like it, Kiyoomi can talk a lot, especially if it’s about something embarrassing for Atsumu. Atsumu smiles at that and thinks, I’m gonna win the friendship test, even though it’s not a competition. “He nearly cried because he was homesick.”
“Omi-kun!” Atsumu cringes when his voice breaks because of how high it went, just now. “That’s not even true.”
“Of course it is.”
“Yeah! I was there,” Hinata announces. Then, “I was the cockroach.”

Sakusa knows the risks of having a roommate. Those risks, however, were worth it when it came to having a roommate like Suna Rintaro. After successfully sharing a dorm room for their first year of university, sharing a studio apartment together the following year only seemed natural. Suna studies hard, cleans after himself, and respects Sakusa’s demands for personal space. And, though he knows Suna did go to parties, he never brought the alcohol or cigarettes or party behavior home with him. It didn’t hurt, either, that Suna frequently spends nights at his boyfriend’s place, leaving the studio spacious with alone time. Sakusa knows the risks of having a roommate, yet nothing in their year and a half of living together prepared him for this moment—the moment Suna wakes with body aches and lets out a sneeze.

Atsumu isn’t supposed to be here. Of course, that’s never stopped him before, but Sakusa would appreciate it if the hitman would let him be, if only for tonight. He should know better by now, that Atsumu is not that kind.
