Summary
Ben’s trying to provide retribution for his kingdom's actions, so children of villains are invited to Auradon to attend school. They aren’t particularly excited until their parents order them to break the isle barrier.
Faced with their parents' crimes, the core 4 must decide if they’ll follow their ‘destiny’ or choose good, blazing a path for isle children.
But adjusting to an entirely new environment with vastly different ideologies isn't easy. The rotten four try to separate their identities from their parents, which proves difficult when who your parents were was all that mattered on the isle.
This is especially true for Carlos, who’s struggling to adjust far more than he’ll admit. His denial is already causing consequences he refuses to acknowledge. In the first real safety he’s ever had, Carlos must face his deep-seated fears and his past. With the help of friends, new and old, it’s a painful internal battle. One made worse by new revelations about Cruella, unexpected truths about himself, and meeting people from his mum’s past.
Tl;dr: Carlos is having a shit time his whole life has been a shit time and it’s only gonna get shitter
