"Do you like it?" asks Lilia, leaning forward to rest his elbows against his knees and his cheek in his hand, "It's perfect for a princess like yourself, wouldn't you say?"
Silver's mind slows at the word. Father doesn't use that word freely. It's clear what he's initiating and Silver begins to warm from the inside out, heat simmering away in his chest like a pot left on a stove.
"If… If daddy thinks so," he murmurs, "then yes."
Lilia brought one other thing for Silver to try on.

"Just how… bestial are you?" asks Riddle, "The real you, that is."
And something about the way Floyd hums again, so low that he may as well be purring, sets Riddle off. He already regrets asking the question but he's nowhere to run now, staring up at two rows of sharp teeth as Floyd grins.
"D'you wanna find out?"
Riddle realizes he's never seen what Floyd really looks like.

Summary
Silver was especially kind to the vice-housewarden. Vanrouge was generally friendly with everyone but there was something familiar in how he treated Silver. Several times have you managed to pick up snippets of their conversations, and so far they've ranged from schoolwork discussions to Silver offering to do Vanrouge's laundry. Which wouldn't be so odd if they really did know each other prior to NRC, however— you still thought it a bit strange.
Diasomnia's vice-housewarden and the new student are rather close.

Silver tried to salvage what little was left of his dignity. “You-You have the wrong idea, really—”
“Ah, do I?” Lilia leaned back onto his palms, crossing his legs at the ankle. Without any of his armor, he was hardly left in appropriate clothing. His trousers were the only thing really concealing anything, the rest of his body hugged by a skin-tight bodysuit meant to camouflage the wearer. He’d taken off the cloth that was wrapped around his chest, and Silver couldn’t help but find it more scandalous than his actual bare skin. “So you didn’t sneak in here with the intention of seducing me, then?”
The General of the Right needs to blow off some steam. He just doesn't understand why Silver is playing so hard to get.

Lilia is still smiling. Maybe a bit wider, now. Silver pictures the point of his canine teeth peeking from his lips as he says, “I didn’t realize my son still needed me so much.”
Silver looks up, resting his cheek against his chest. “I always need you.”
“You won’t always. Children are meant to grow up and go off on their own. I can’t keep you here simply because I want to.”
But you could, Silver doesn’t say, you can keep me here forever, if you wanted.

Silver is seventeen, now, and he’s only grown prettier every year. Garbed all in white for the fairy gala, hair carefully pinned back instead of obscuring his face, and lashes elongated by mascara, it’s more notable than normal. Lilia sighs again, happily, “Beautiful.” Then he giggles and pinches Silver’s cheek, unable to help adding, “Just like a bride on her wedding night.”
Silver gives him a curious look, touching his own face where Lilia had. “What does that mean?” he asks.
Lilia knows, then, that the old demon still living in his chest is awake, and hungry.
