"She left town. She was just like you, bright eyes, dark skin, short hair." Harrows knee pressed fully into her leg. "I hated that she left me but she looked very beautiful leaving." Alecto said, the smile on her face faint, crooked. Harrow bit at the inside of her cheek.
"Do you speak to her anymore?" Harrow asked and Alecto hummed, lost somewhere.
"No, not often. I'll get post cards from her and her husband. They're happy." She said and Harrow leaned in. Alecto lifted a hand, fingers ghosting Harrow's jawline.
"Do you know how close you are?" Alecto asked.
