One of my favourite fics— nay, written works overall— of all time.
It's like a huge book. I adore the world, I adore the creativity, I love how alive it feels and just. *trying not to explode* I struggle to even begin to list all the things I love about it, I just absolutely adore this work of art and did from the very first chapter, god. I am amazed at how my heart clenches for this little thing. I feel I will carry this with me for the rest of my life.
Splendid work, on all levels, through and through. Highly reccomend it, even to people who are not in the fandom or into the usual work of the genres.

Extremely well thought out. Refreshingly creative about several concepts in Undertale/the Multiverse that are often used in almost the exact same way everywhere else. The writing is beautiful. I fucking love the author's spin on the characters, their magic, their feelings... characterisation so good it made me log into ao3 to bookmark the fic.

Summary
A great source of despair draws Nightmare to an abandoned AU. There he finds an unfinished Sans with no name, no companions, no purpose, no world, and a soul. Nightmare gives him the option to get out of his abandoned, empty world. He accepts the offer but refuses to destroy anything or hurt people. Instead he finds another purpose. In return the Bad Sanses give him a home, companions, a life, and a name. They call him Ink.
Or: Before he can destroy his soul and enter the Doodle Sphere, Ink is recruited by Nightmare. He accepts his role as best he can, even if he sometimes feels like he is meant for something more.
